Bogue Banks

Crystal Coast's main barrier island, running east-west from Atlantic Beach to Emerald Isle. The Point at Emerald Isle's west end picks up wrapping S/SE swell when Hatteras and the Cape Fear Coast are too north-east. The rest is mellow.
