Crystal Coast

The Bogue Banks barrier island from Atlantic Beach west to Emerald Isle. The coast curves south here, picking up S/SE swell that Hatteras misses. The Point at Emerald Isle's west end is the most consistent spot on a wrapping pulse; the rest is mellow beach break suited to beginners and longboarders.
