Hilton Beach is the historic core of Israeli surf culture — beginner-friendly sandbar in front of the Tel Aviv Hilton hotel — while Herzliya's Acadia and Apollonia offer more varied bottoms with the country's longest right at the Marina jetty. Best on autumn-to-winter (Oct-Mar) W/SW Mediterranean lows; summer is mostly flat with occasional Etesian wind-swell.
