Ashdod and Ashkelon, picking up SW Mediterranean swell more directly than central Israel. The Power Station outfall in Ashdod fires on small days from warm-water outflow, while Ashdod Lighthouse and Ashkelon Marina handle the bigger SW lows. Punchier beach breaks than Tel Aviv and slightly bigger on most swells, with the country's warmest water year-round.
