Jeju Island

South Korea's volcanic island, 90km off the south coast, with a year-round surf scene. South Jeju's Jungmun is the flagship — S/SW swell from Pacific typhoons in summer, N offshore from the Hallasan mountains. East Jeju (Hado, Sehwa) picks up the NE winter swell window; West Jeju (Iho) wraps NW pulses. Water is the warmest in Korea (peak ~27°C late summer) but cools to 14°C in February.
