Sokcho

Northern end of the East Coast surf zone, just south of the DMZ. Sokcho Beach and Yeongnang Beach are urban beaches at the foot of Seoraksan; consistent winter NE swell, light crowds compared to Yangyang. Used as a base by Seoul surfers driving up Friday night.
