Haifa's surf cluster on the Carmel coast. Bat Galim is the country's premier reef break (left/right peak), with Backdoor (Haifa) as the heavy right next door. Hof HaShaket (Quiet Beach) and Hof Dado are mellower beach alternatives just south.
