In between, you'll find Generals, Goat Island, and Makapuu—all quality reef breaks that offer both left and right-hand waves for riders with solid intermediate to advanced skills. East Side shines brightest during the cooler winter months from December through February, when average scores peak in the mid-40s and the best sessions crack into the high 90s.
